I've found a really nice colouring for very desaturated images and I thought I'd share. :) If you have photoshop there is a psd for you to simply drag on top of your icon, but if you would like to fiddle around with the technique a bit, here is a tutorial where you'll get the same result.

Things I am hoping to do today:

♥ write some more of 'those summer weeks'

♥ homework, joy.

♥ make a banner with which i will do some pimping of creddie_love. I just sorted out a new layout and profile and it looks really cool.

♥ possibly some music practice and some icon-making.

GIMP is sucky.

I found some icon tutorials at icon_tutorial and they're SO GOOD, and the results look great (in the icon-maker's post), but my layers are being pissy bitches.

For a lot of them you have to duplicate/ create new layers, which is fine, and you have to use the bucket fill tool to get a certain colouring (but you lower the opacity, and change the ( Read more... )
